About the Doctor
When I began my medical training at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, there was one area that called to me more than any other: the skin. Because the skin doesn't lie. It changes, warns, and reacts. Learning to listen to it is what led me to dedicate my entire career to it.
Today, I am a board-certified dermatologist in Puebla with a Subspecialty in Dermatologic Surgery and a Master's Degree in Trichology. What matters most to me in every consultation remains the same question: Why is this happening to your skin?
I don't jump straight to the treatment. First, I understand. I use digital dermoscopy, trichoscopy, and cutting-edge diagnostic technology to see what the naked eye cannot detect. Because treating well starts with diagnosing well.
Academic Background
Specialties
Every consultation begins with a real diagnosis. Never with assumptions.

Eczema, dermatitis, hives, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis. Diagnosis with high-resolution digital dermoscopy.
Specialized Diagnosis
Acne doesn't disappear just by washing your face. We identify the exact type to design a protocol that works long-term. No relapses.
Juvenile, Hormonal, Cystic Acne
Rosacea and acne look similar, but they are not the same. Treating it as acne can make it worse. With the correct diagnosis, it can be controlled.
4 types of rosacea
An autoimmune disease that depigments the skin. Early diagnosis makes a real and visible difference in results.
Segmental and Non-segmental
With a Master's Degree in Trichology and digital trichoscopy, I diagnose the exact type of alopecia before discussing any treatment.
Digital Trichoscopy
The difference between a benign and a malignant mole can only be determined with dermoscopy. I hold a Subspecialty in Dermatologic Surgery.
Early Detection of Melanoma
A definitive diagnosis requires a direct mycological study, not just visual observation. No trial and error.
Tinea, Onychomycosis, Candidiasis
Nails say more than they appear. Changes in color, shape, or texture can indicate anything from infections to systemic diseases.
Complete Differential Diagnosis
Every type of spot needs a different approach. Using the wrong treatment can darken the spot further. Let's identify the real cause.
Melasma, Lentigines, HyperpigmentationAesthetic Dermatology
All my aesthetic treatments are performed by a board-certified specialist, not by technicians or estheticians. The difference shows in the results.

Botox is not about freezing your face. It's about softening expression lines without losing your natural look. Results in 3–5 days, lasting 4–6 months.
Forehead, frown lines, crow's feet
Personalized protocol based on what your skin needs: sagging, spots, texture, fine lines, dullness, or volume loss.
100% Personalized Protocol
One of the most effective treatments for spots, acne, and aging. The key is the right acid and the correct concentration.
Superficial and medium-depth
Stimulates collagen production from deep layers. No surgery. No downtime. Ideal for facial contour firmness.
No Downtime
Effective and safe hair reduction, adapted to your skin type and area to treat. Performed by a specialist dermatologist.
Adapted to your skin type
Controlled mechanical exfoliation that improves texture, reduces pores, and enhances the absorption of subsequent treatments.

Precision Diagnosis
Many dermatological treatments fail because they were applied without truly understanding the problem. In my office, I work with digital dermoscopes, trichoscopes, and next-generation diagnostic equipment to see what the eye cannot detect alone.
I don't guess. I diagnose. And that difference is reflected in the results.

Frequently Asked Questions
You should see a dermatologist when you notice changes in your skin, hair, or nails that persist for more than two weeks: new spots or spots that change shape, excessive hair loss, acne that doesn't respond to treatment, moles that grow or change color, or any lesion that itches, bleeds, or doesn't heal well. Early detection makes a difference, especially in cases of skin tumors.
Acne is a multifactorial disease of hormonal, genetic, and infectious origin that produces comedones, whiteheads, and cysts. Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory disease that causes persistent redness and visible capillaries, without comedones. Treating rosacea with acne products can significantly irritate and worsen the skin.
Yes. Vitiligo has treatments that, depending on the type and duration of progression, can stop its advance and in many cases achieve visible repigmentation. Treatments include topical therapies, phototherapy, and, for selected cases, surgical procedures. Early diagnosis significantly improves outcomes.
Alopecia diagnosis requires evaluating the pattern of hair loss, scalp condition, family history, hormonal status, and possible nutritional deficiencies. In the office, I use digital trichoscopy to analyze hair and scalp at a microscopic level. This allows identifying the exact type of alopecia and choosing the right treatment from the start.
Botox applied by a board-certified dermatologist is a safe procedure with decades of clinical support. The application takes 15 to 20 minutes and the discomfort is minimal, similar to a very light pinprick. No recovery time is needed and you can resume your activities immediately. Results appear between 3 and 5 days later and last between 4 and 6 months.
Yes, facial spots have a solution when the correct cause is identified and treated. Melasma, solar lentigines, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation respond well to specialized protocols, but each type requires a different approach. In the consultation, we determine exactly what type of spot you have and design the appropriate protocol for you.
